For mining and remote industrial operations
Built-for-purpose mobile connectivity and private 5G—made for extreme environments where Wi-Fi can’t deliver.

Private, resilient connectivity where Wi-Fi fails
Mining sites are some of the most demanding environments for digital infrastructure—remote, high-interference, and often far from traditional network reach. Wi-Fi can’t cope with the distances, density, or dust. Public mobile networks are unreliable or unavailable.
MTX Connect solves this with two layers of resilience:
- Global mobile connectivity via install-once SIMs and eSIMs for fleet tablets, IoT sensors, rugged field equipment, or staff phones.
- Optional private 5G networks, deployed on-site using our vendor-agnostic mobile core and Open RAN technologies. This allows mines to establish their own ultra-reliable, high-throughput, low-latency mobile infrastructure—independent of external networks.
Our solution powers:
- Autonomous vehicles and machine teleoperation
- Real-time analytics from edge sensors
- Remote diagnostics and maintenance tablets
- VoIP and video communication in deep field zones
- Device-to-device (P2P) communication for isolated sites
Real-life application
A multinational mining operator deployed MTX SIMs and a private 5G network at a remote European site. Their CTO shared:
“Wi-Fi couldn’t reach half the operation. With MTX, we built a private 5G mesh that just works—from underground sensors to surface teams. The network is ours. The data is ours.”
