Protection is enabled at the business account level. As soon as it’s active, all users and devices connected via MTX SIM or eSIM benefit from the filtering — no setup, login, or configuration required on the user side.
How does the filtering work?
We route all DNS queries through a secure, cloud-based system powered by Whalebone. Domains are checked against a continuously updated threat intelligence database. Dangerous sites are blocked silently in real time.
Are all my users and devices protected?
Yes — every device using your MTX Connect Business connectivity (SIM or eSIM) is automatically covered. There’s no need to install or activate protection per device.
Does it work on roaming or public Wi-Fi?
MTX Connect NetProtect works on all connections routed through MTX Connect SIM / eSIM — whether at the office, abroad, or connected via a mobile hotspot. Protection on third-party Wi-Fi networks is possible with the help of our mobile app.
Is user activity tracked or logged?
Only security-relevant data is logged. MTX Connect does not inspect content or user behavior beyond DNS resolution events. All data is processed under strict GDPR-compliant conditions in the EU.
